Steve Jobs: 1955-2011. Steve Jobs' death has affected me in a surprisingly personal way, considering that I never actually met the man. Maybe this is because he had such a profound effect on my life.

Recent appearances:

SVMUG. I spoke at the Silicon Valley MUG meeting at the Google campus on October 17. The subject was "The iOS-ification of the Mac."

MCE. I delivered a session at the Macintosh Computer Expo in Petaluma on October 1. The subject was: "The MacBook Air vs. the iPad."

MacNexus User Group. I spoke at the MacNexus User Group in Sacramento on August 16.
